Surely it's great because it's creepy rather than 'but'?

A criminally underrated horror film. The sequels were crud, though.

The rule of most Horror franchises. There are some exceptions, but not many. Especially when you get to 4+.

Zombie Flesh Eaters tonight. This film looks grim.

It is rather. Is it the fully un-cut one?

I watched that for the first time last weekend. Still don't really know what on earth was going on.

My girlfriend is really into horror films so I end up watching quite a few, I've always thought my threshold for horror was very low but the only thing that got to me lately was REC, specifically the ending. Something that hasn't been mentioned here is The Women in Black, looks terrifying to me as someone who has a reoccurring nightmare that has scary old people staring at me through a window :dread:

I really want to see The Exorcist and The Blair Witch just because I was too much of a wimp to watch them when I was younger.

It used a few too many jump scares but the haunted house bits were very atmospheric and made me constantly uneasy. We watched it in pitch black with the surround sound on and one of the noises in particular was particularly unpleasant, also I just find ghosts in that kind of period costume scary.

Can't believe it was only a 12.

Based on the above you might like to try 'The Others' which is pretty creepy. Don't think anyone's mentioned it above.

You didn't find it scary at all?

@Still The others still haunts my dreams.

Watched kill list tonight, really enjoyed it even though I have no idea what to think about the ending.
