Crikey, I can't be the only one that can't get past the first room of the first proper level? :shifty:

I keep panicking and pressing X so my guy rolls about like a goon.

I used to be good at HM1 :(

I kinda like the hospital level on Hotline Miami... oh and the last boss too :shifty: (HM1)

The complaints on HM2 sounds bad. :dread: I'll wait till it's on sale before I buy it to be honest!

It's safe to say that I'm not enjoying HM2 as much as I do with HM1.

Once you get to about 10 episodes into the new game, you learn to hate those off screen banana splits that just have perfect accuracy. It get's absolutely relentless at times, especially the 11th episode.

I see Edge gave this a 5. Classic Edge.

Relax Ted, it was a witty (imo) response to Mafro saying the same thing to me in the EDGE thread.

Finally got round to finishing 2, the last five or so levels were such a grind, I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as I did the first. The main problem I had with this were enemies killing me from strawberry floating miles out, and too many bullshitty stories going on at once.

So much for the level editor being out in Spring.

Just finished this. What the hell happened?

- Levels are way too big and game is too long in general
- Enemies way off-screen sniping at you farther than where you can look
- Enemies literally walking off the map where you can't go or look so you cannot see them on certain maps
- Enemies getting trapped in doors
- Enemies becoming invincible in doorways
- Being unable to hit enemies because you're standing in a doorway
- Doors spazzing out
- Enemies knocking themselves out with doors.
- Anything to strawberry floating do with doors, really.
- On the last level (act 24) it gives you the option of choosing a character yet there's an enemy that ducks bullets on the very first floor and is impassable if you didn't pick a melee character. :fp:

+ Music
+ Visuals

5/10 for the visuals and music alone which are both outstanding.

Maybe playtest the next game before it's released, eh?

I finally managed to platinum both of these games. The second game was much more of a bitch to do so than the first.

I think the second game has the best soundtrack. There were some bad changes to the controls, however. For example not being able to 'drop' weapons any longer (only 'throw' command available).
