The soundtrack for HM2 is amazing. The first one is great as well and fits the mood of the game perfectly too, but the second one is more listenable outside of the game I think.

Hotline Miami: Collector's Edition Vinyl Kickstarter

I've never had any intention to fund anything on Kickstarter but I'm not missing out on this like I did with the HM2 soundtrack. £42 with shipping for those who might be interested.

Launched just over a year ago and the level editor still isn't out properly.

How did the sequel compare to the original? Tempted to finally get this in Steam sale.

S'alright. Not as good as the first one. Definitely more frustrating. If the first is a 9/10 then this is about a 6 or a 7.

Good but not a patch on the original which is one of my favourite games ever. It's absolutely worth the £2.99 in the Steam sale, one of the best soundtracks in years too. The big negative was the levels are more open than the first game which can lead to tons of deaths when you're killed by someone off-screen.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one (still enjoyed it though), but my step brother wanted the first one so I got the bundle yesterday.

Installing now to givve it a whirl.

I completed the original and adored every second of it. Awesome game.

I've liked the sequel but it is definitely harder, frustrating and more unfair. Great soundtrack like the original but not as good gameplay-wise. Worth a punt though.

Huge bump as I picked this up in a recent PS store sale. Loving it so far - not as much as the original - but it's still good fun. Not being grabbed by the soundtrack so much (I still listen to the soundtrack from the first game at least once a fortnight).

Not sure how I feel about the plot's character-hopping, but this is a solid 8/10 from me so far.

The iconic Hotline Miami series arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S!

Hotline Miami is a high-octane action game overflowing with raw brutality, hard-boiled gunplay and skull crushing close combat. Set in an alternative 1989 Miami, you will assume the role of a mysterious antihero on a murderous rampage against the shady underworld at the behest of voices on your answering machine.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game. Follow the paths of several distinct factions – each with their own questionable methods and uncertain motivations – as unforeseen consequences intersect and reality once again slips back into a brilliant haze of neon and bloodshed.
