2x12- Opening scene was great.

As with season 1 I feel this season had a badly paced middle where the characters mostly just circled each other killing time until the finale. Finale was good though and performances remained mostly excellent across the board.

I am surprised with the end of the season. I was expecting them to pad out the VP role until next season.

It doesn't necessarily mean that. With this show it could be death, arrest, kidnapping, getting the sack, having your partner cheat, scandal in the media, demotion, or something else entirely.

Possible season 2 spoilers.

After finishing season 2, I have decided to watch the original BBC series, so far I have seen the first series and the first episode of series 2 ("To Play a King"). It’s a little dated and odd in places they have killed off the Queen! but pretty good. The US version is actually pretty close to the British version, affair with female journalist who is then murdered, murder of a drug addict/alcoholic etc.

Worth watching, although it may have spoilers for the US version if they carry on with similar plotlines.

I mean, all knew it was coming. Still enjoyed it though. I agree with what others have said that the middle episodes of the season dragged a little bit, but I've just watched the last 2 episodes back to back and it had me engrossed the whole time.

I'm seriously looking forward to the true anti-West Wing next year (season 3 has been confirmed right?)

Finally finished Orange is the new Black so just watched episode 14 (S1E1)

Finally finished watching season 2. Wow I really am looking forward to the next season now.

Might have to watch a recap again though - the S1 recap was really useful.

I still miss (massive S2 spoiler) Kate Mara though.

Apparently season 3 has just leaked two weeks early.... on Netflix. Intentional?

I'm watching it on US, wasn't on UK when i checked.

EDIT - they've pulled it apparently, but i'm still watching the first ep of season 3
