So now the switch has been out a few days i was wondering for the early adopters in what mode has people mainly been playing their switch and when i say this i mean the majority of the time so i guess say over 60% to 70% of the time. For me although I've only had a chance to play it for the last two days I've been playing mine 100% in handheld and i kind of see this happening a lot in future unless i either have people round to play co-op games with or perhaps i randomly feel like i need or want the bigger screen.
Just to add because I've seen this discussed a bit but for me i always thought and find the Switch is really a handheld that i can plug into the TV if i want to and can then use it as a main console and multiplayer machine but i know some who have said they will mainly have theirs docked and will use the pro controller or joycon grip for nearly all games.I'm intrigued to see what everyone says.
Edit: Added a 50/50 if the play time has been that exact split. Edit2: The poll edit deleted Pedz vote, sorry Pedz.

I've played it substantially in all three configurations, so I can't really vote. Been playing it handheld on the bus to and from work, handheld in bed before sleeping, docked on the tv in the living room at the weekend and in the evenings, and on the kickstand on my bedside table and on the living room table when housemates wanted the tv.
I really like the joycons+grip as a controller, but handheld is so useful (I used to always play my 3DS and/or Vita on the bus and in bed).
switch on the floor right joycon in my right hand left hand on my dick left joycon up my butt
I voted 50/50. It's not really down to how I play it, but rather where I play it. If I'm in the living room, it's docked, otherwise handheld. It is a much better handheld than it is a console. Probably because it's just a big Vita with extra shoulder buttons, and that was the greatest gaming hardware ever.
Mostly docked but I've played a couple of hours in handheld mode too, a little in bed but also when the TV has been in use for something else and I've decided to get back to BotW rather than carry on watching. When in portable mode I've definitely prefered to play it with Joy Cons attached to the system rather than table top mode, everything just seems too small to see clearly like that, at least in something like Zelda where there's a lot going on.
I mainly use it as a handheld as I've only had time to play a bit of Zelda in bed before sleeping. When I set it up, I did play it a bit in docked mode and later in tabletop mode from my bed.
