You have to cut it in some way, otherwise the filling falls out.

I just fold it over so it looks like a burrito. Om nom nom. No need to cut it at all.

A decent Sanger made from grinder and ham was heaven when I was a kid.

wtf?

He has worded that badly, but what he means is getting meat from people he meets on grindr.

I don't cut my sandwiches. Oh and crusts are the worst part of a sandwich, people who say otherwise are complete clowns. They're just there as an edible barrier which you have to eat through to get to the good gooseberry fool. Unless you cut your sandwiches, in which case they're just there to eat at the end so that you don't have any garbage/left overs to deal with.

No, I refuse to believe anyone with a tongue could ever describe any crust as being godly.

Even if you do think so, do you disagree that the crust is the worst part of a sandwich?

I love crusts, the squarer end of a sandwich has those lovely soft but a bit chewy crusts that make a cheese and pickle sandwhich complete.

Bunch of kids in here, wah wah cut my crusts off mum.

I don't even half my sandwiches nevermind cut the crusts off. I don't even hate crusts. I have no issues with people who like them, only with those who proclaim they are the best part of a sandwich. Or pizza.

Depends on the bread really. If it's Kingsmill or something then yeah, the crusts aren't great (neither is the bread full stop, actually) but on wholemeal batch or fresh from the bakery? Sometimes the ends are the best bit (chewy, crusty, sometimes with oats on top).

Genuine surprised laugh out loud at seeing the 'Wanker' method in the poll, wondering about it, then seeing the picture.

Top thread.

Diagonal for me. I like it, much better way to eat sandwiches  Though I honestly don't mind - if someone offers me "wanker" aka Cross cut sandwich, I'll eat it without a fuss. It's still a sandwich.

Only thing I'd tell you to get tae strawberry float out if you add pickle cucumber to it. Pickles :dread:

I can personally testify to this. I eat crusts and I make Robin Williams look like Zelda Williams.

Thick crusty slices of that (grinder) is what I'm on about. It's popular in Munster area of Southern Ireland. If chalky says he's never heard of it then shame on him (or visit Cahir Bakery)

Looks soft and chewy, probably amazing with a good pate.

If a sandwich cut into four triangles is called the wanker, then what is a sandwich cut into four squares called?
