Didn't own a Wii U before? Want one now or went out and bought one?
Already owned a Wii U? Do you feel better or worse about its future?
Still don't want a Wii U?
Or something else?

As for me, I wants it!

I likely pick one up for the new Zelda when it arrives, and then get some of the other Nintendo releases while I'm at it.

I picked up a Wii U last summer and haven't regretted it (stupid account system aside). Off TV play comes in really handy too, to the extent that my U gets far more of my gaming/netflix time than any other system.

Admittedly it's not great for third party games, but it has an abundance of great first party titles which easily make it worth the asking price. The future lineup was looking very sparse until E3 (and still is, to an extent), but it has showed off some brilliant looking games that I'll end up getting.

Even though they had a very strong E3 my feelings on the console are unchanged. It's another platform I'd buy to play Nintendo games and not much else but that just seems to be the way is for Nintendo home consoles. I will buy one at some point when I see a good deal.

Hopeful, partly because we now can be fairly sure it'll get a 3D Metroid game in 3-4 years' time, but I still can't help but feel that the diversity of genres present on the system just isn't what it should be by now. Nintendo isn't going to get much help from third parties to rectify that problem, and it doesn't seem to be doing much itself to change that either.

So, above all else, right now it's frustration I'm feeling.

That isn't to say that I think that it had a bad E3 though, it was rather good actually.

I feel the same as i did before E3. They have some nice looking games coming over the next 18 months or so but nothing that's going to make me want to buy a Wii U for a second time just yet.

When i had a Wii U there wasn't much to play. I waited for ages for Pikmin 3 to come out and i was done with it after around 8-10 hours and my Wii U started collecting dust again. Looking at the lineup for the rest of 2014 isn't any different really. Smash Bros looks cool but I've never really got into it when i played the previous games.

I find with Nintendo it's better for me to wait a few years before buying one of their consoles. Always seems to take a while them to build up a selection of games that i'm interested in.

I always knew I'd end up getting a Wii U for Smash Bros, but now I'm really surprised at the amount of games on the system I also want, both already released and still to come. Of all the next-gen consoles I'd say it quite comfortably has the best catalogue of games (admittedly that headstart on the competition has given it more time to assemble this catalogue).

I feel tremendously positive about the system for 2015. This year is kinda lacking until Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros, Bayo 2 and Captain Toad release. I think the first in that list is due out in September?

I need the time to get my backlog down, so I welcome this three month gap between releases. I'm not interested in Wii U Sports.

I feel a lot happier about the system in general after the most recent update. The whole quick launch and background downloading and updating means you spend a lot more time actually playing games and less wrestling with the UI.

I'd already planned to get one. The games shown at E3 reinforced that decision. Personally I don't think it matters now how well [or not] the Wii U fairs against the PS4 and the X1 as much like the Gamecube it clearly will be worth owning for the games available for it.

I bought the Mario Kart bundle when it came out because the price was right and it already had a decent amount of games I want. E3 has definitely made me more excited for its future though.

As things stand it's still the only current gen console that appeals to me. There's very little out for the PS4 and X1 that I want and can't get on PC, while the Wii U offers something genuinely different. I still don't think I'd buy one as my only gaming device, but I wouldn't want to be without it.

Bought one 2 weeks ago with little research in to it (fancied MK8 and got reasonable trade in against my 360 and a load of games).
In truth the backlog of games justified the purchase for me anyway (I'm getting on so it wasn't my years savings or anything), but now I feel like I own a machine that actually has a future (of sorts).
I can see it maybe ended up as something of a Dreamcast type legacy for the machine (granted that was not what Nintendo were aiming for).
So overall I feel good, but realistically it is still going to be a distant third as far as take up goes.

Nothing has really changed from this E3, Nintendo were never going to drop it next year and beyond that we still don't know anything.

3rd Party development is still pretty much dead and again nothing actually at E3 has changed that.

I got one at launch with Zombie U and at first I loved it but the novelty wore off pretty quick and I mostly went back to playing the 360/PS3 more.. I've bought a few games since like Rayman/Mario/Zelda but it's still not had much use if I'm honest.. Mario Kart coming out has meant its had more use recently and sure will play it for a while but with XBOne and PS4 now, it's still not seeing that much use.

I'm looking forward to Bayonetta 2 more than anything though Smash Bros and new Zelda also look good but beyond that.. it's still a bit meh for me. Don't regret buying it but if I didn't have one I'd be in no rush to go get one now.

Clearly you have misunderstood the question. It wasn't asking how E3 has changed things for Nintendo, more how has E3 changed your view on the Wii U, if at all.

Interesting lineup of games I'll never get to try due to my disability.

Same as every other console sadly.

Going to pick one up next week.

Had been on the verge of buying one for a while, that Zelda trailer (and that Yoshi wool game  ) pushed me over the edge.

Games and Stuff.

If you can read this, you're too close.
