In Pizza Express or an Italian restaurant you will require a knife & fork because you'll actually have to cut the bloody thing for a start. Come on, this is a ridiculous level of ignorance.

If I've cooked it myself or I'm in a restaurant I use cutlery. If I've ordered dominos then I use my hands.

I use a knife and fork. I'm a bit weird though, I cut all round the crust first, to leave the good middle bit for last.

I do that at home! Eat the crust with about a centimetre of topping for taste and then feast on the middle. That's even better when it's stuffed crust.

Pizza is the greatest food on Earth. Who cares how eat it? Seems silly to me to use a knife and fork, but each to their own. When I order a pizza and they give me cutlery, I just ignore it. When I order a burger and they give me cutlery, I laugh and then ignore it.

If the pizza isn't sliced I would almost always eat it with cutlery. There is precisely nothing wrong with that. Save your ire for those who use cutlery on burgers, for they are banana splits.

On several occasions I've eaten burgers with cutlery 8-)

If you go for the bunless option or a really messy one with loads of toppings often there's no way to tackle it with your hands. A place in my home town does one with double burgers, double bacon, double cheese and topped with chilli. It's impossible to pick up, let alone get your jaw around it.
