How easy is it to use long term - do you need to apply much force to move the pointer? Just wondering if this setup would result in aches from continued fine movement of the neck?

Not yet but I'll definitely give it a try.

I only used it for around 2 hours as I was a bit concerned about having a large lump of plastic stuck in my mouth for too long (I have allergies to certain plastics) but I didn't seem to have any issues with that. I tried playing XCOM 2 and Pacman CE in that time and both seemed fairly playable although I'll likely have to use a couple of extra switches (as seen in the video below) for anything with more complicated control schemes.

I'll be having another go at trying it over the weekend as it takes a while to get everything set up but I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.

Id be interested to see how some games work with it, should you get the chance to grab a little bit of gameplay.

You should stream when you feel you are comfortable controlling things.

I think Inside (or Limbo) will probably be among the first games I'll play using my new setup as the controls seem fairly simple.

I also wouldn't mind playing RIME too as I really like the look of it and it also looks to have relatively simple controls.

Update: Things have been going slower than expected due to not being able to find a UK supplier for a couple of the things I need but I think I've found an acceptable alternative option.

The switches I need will have to come from a US company but as long as I don't mind waiting for standard international post to arrive then it shouldn't be too expensive - for three switches plus delivery the estimated cost is around £60 plus whatever import changes get added.

Had another trial run with the integra mouse set to 'cursor' mode (movement emulates arrow keys, sipping/puffing for Space/Enter) and using a standard mouse to use the onscreen keyboard (instead of the switches I'll be eventually using) with the mixed results with the following games:

Pacman CE (score attack, 5mins) - very promising, some slight difficulty with reaction times when the speed increases but managed a high enough score to get on the leaderboard.

Mario Kart Double Dash (Dolphin, using onscreen keyboard to accelerate, no item use or braking) - tried 1st cup (50cc) and finished 6th overall, again some issues with response times so steering was occasionally troublesome.

LoZ: Wind Waker (Dolphin, osk for A,B,X,Y buttons) - probably the most difficult one to play, movement was awkward as it isn't easy to move diagonally using my mouth to push the 'stick', I managed to navigate Link to his house and then the sword trainers house but couldn't get any further as I don't currently have a way to hold down one button while pressing another (will require a glovepie/auttohotkey script, which I'll cobble together today), trying to navigate narrow ledges was especially hard too but I haven't totally given up on it yet.

Limbo - Good god that was annoying, keyboard control scheme is terrible with the integra mouse, simultaneously moving and jumping is nigh on impossible when using my mouth - will have to use switches for jumping and grabbing.

I've noticed a few more issues with the hardware itself which need addressing but I'm fairly happy that I've managed to at least attempt playing stuff that has been out of my physical capabilities for several years. Things are shaping up well.
