...without crossing a road?

Say you woke up one day and instantly developed a massive phobia of cars and tarmac that prohibited you from crossing any sort of road at all. How long could you survive?

I reckon I could feasibly survive indefinitely if this dreaded fear struck me. The block that I live on has a 24 hour shop (for food and essentials), a couple of pubs, a barbers, a nice restaurant, a Subway and one of the finest record shops in the city. The only thing I'd miss would be going to the cinema I think.

Cosmo need not reply to this topic because we all know he never leaves his room anyway.

About 2 weeks maybe 3 before I got too hungry and had to go to a shop.

Probably a little longer than KP, due to my excessive fat stores.

I could get to 3 takeaways and a Burger King without crossing a road, and a post office so I should be able to survive for a little while. My health would suffer though.

Probably forever - you could order literally everything you wanted online, and pick it up at the door \o/

For ages. I could make my way to a newsagents, a barbers, and a chinnese takeaway. And a bookies! I'd have to get other people to cross the street to take money out the cash machine for me though.

Do you work from home? Do you have access to a local branch of your bank?

The long term issues must be considered I'm afraid.

I'd pay for everything electronically. Or, if I was desperate for a takeaway, I'd give my mate my bank card and tell him to get the cash out.
It's quite bizarre how well thought out I have this :?

\o Porn. Home-made porn, would sell like hotcakes - then I hire more people and create a studio in my house. The empire builds until I have more houses being run around the country by associates without even leaving my own house. The money pours in, and I never have to move again.

I work from home, pay for all bills etc. online and just got an ASDA delivery.

I'd be fine. A hermit, but fine.

There is a long route I could take which would involve crossing no roads. 8-) Then again the route does lead to nowhere.
