How long do you actually spend playing games?

Just interested to hear how much time people have to do the hobby that (presumably) brought most of us to GRcade.

I generally don't play anything Mon-Thurs, just because of a lack of time, but Friday nights and weekends I probably put in 2 hours a day average, so 6 hours a week or so. If there's a game I'm really into, I might spend 3-4 hours a day playing, but that's quite rare.

Everyone else?

Used to be between 5-10 hours, but that has now massively dropped off since having a baby. I probably average an hour of FIFA a week now (if I'm lucky!)

At the moment Im probably down to 8 hours a week or so, about an hour a day midweek if Im lucky and if I get a couple of hours one evening at the weekend then Im doing well. But I have just moved into a new house and its the summer so hopefully by September Ill have a bit more time for it. I miss the days I could plow 80 hours into a game in a week without having to think about it.

I probably play games a little too much to be honest and that's an understatement. Mon-Fri I get home form work cook my tea then get a few hours gaming in before going to bed and on weekends unless I have other plans I generally do a little food shopping first thing on a morning and spend the rest of my time playing games. I think last weekend (18/19 July) while playing FFIX I took my game clock from around 74 hours to just over 90 hours in my (successful) bid to kill Ozma.

I don't get through nearly as many as I could in that time. About a third to a half of that time is FFXIV. Another third on multiplayer games you can't finish like Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and Rocket League. And the rest gets divided between everything I'm actually trying to beat.

Over 15+ hours here. Though it changes each week, sometimes it can be low as 10ish a week (assuming I play 2~ hrs a day, had days where I didn't game at all) and sometimes it can go high as 40-50 hrs.

I manage to get 20 hours a week, but less when I have the kids stay over at mine.

How the hell my ex have time to watch entire five seasons of a shitty tv show in two weeks when she's got four kids to look after, I'll never know. I couldn't even have a gaming time last longer than two hours when I have the kids for two weeks holiday, let alone watch a 20 episodes season.

And yes, I'm ranting. :shifty:

We do 6 hours after dinner on a Sunday.

Probably the lower end of 5-10 hours most weeks, but if there's something I really get into I'll find the time.

Apparently I spent about 80 hours with Dark Souls 2 the past 3 weeks so that's the exception, but I'll probably just dabble with random games again for a while now. I rarely finish them anyway.

A few hours every day.

Gaming is one of the few things that I can actually do where my disability makes little difference to my overall enjoyment/ability to participate.

Used to be a few hours a day, Now it's dropped to a few a week if I'm lucky and even then I'll just dabble on Fm or something.

It probably averages out at about an hour a day, so 7 a week. Sometimes I will get a lot more gaming in than that, sometimes I barely bother at all.

Very little, I tend to just do building stuff on Minecraft and a few a trips on Train Sim other than that I dont really game at all.

Nearly every week, I'll play Mario Kart for a couple of hours on Monday and Friday. Sometimes I'll play an hour or so of another game afterwards.

Between Tuesday to Thursday I'll play a few hours of something else each evening. This is often only if I'm invested in a game; last week it was A Realm Reborn and this week is Metal Gear Solid.

On the weekend I'll sink more time into whatever I played during the middle of the week for about 5 hours on each day. This tends to be an hour or two in the morning and then a few hours in the evening. If I haven't been grabbed by anything to play heavily, I'll use this time to try out different titles to find one that keeps me coming back for more.

If my friends are ever up for some Smash Bros online, we'll be playing for anywhere from one to five hours. Quite a few times we've been playing until 3 or 4am, just like we did with Smash Bros 64 during university :toot:

About 10 hours on average, sometimes if I'm off it's a lot more.

I feel like I play too much. I still enjoy it despite this. Just I keep thinking about the implications more these days. I basically wasted my early twenties. I regret that.

At the moment 10-15 because of the witcher 3, but generally less than 10 hours a week. When theres a great game i really get into it, but try not to play until too late!
