I'm so sick of them i'd vote for our local guys Mebyon Kernow. They'rea genuine vote at local level on Cornwall Council with a growingpresence but normally a waste nationally but as nobody represents me in westminster that's how i will go.

any chance of an MK options, seeing as the other nationalist parties are there?

Really? That was the only thing that stopped me voting for them last time. Chose ukip, all the big parties are actually detestable banana splits.

Suck it up lads, you can have ideals and you can have influence, but sometimes you have to choose one over the other.

oh that answres myquestion.

you're only including parties you feel can have an influence on the national picture.

but in doing so you're not representing all views.

ah well.

no opinion is correct for me then.

Self-fulfilling prophecy, isn't it? I wonder how many votes the Lib Dems would have had in elections past if people didn't go for the "wasted vote" theory, for example.

more than next time that's for sure.

Goodbye Clegg. Clever bit of stealth Tory placement he was.

I'm not getting at the options in this poll, but for an election in general...
if (hypothetically) i thought that the coalition government was doing a good job, why won't there be an option to have them again?

I think I would vote UKIP unfortunately. I don't agree with their "completely out of Europe" mentality, but a heck of a lot of what they have said has been proved correct with the Euro crisis and there are some extremely worrying trends now in the EU. I seriously think the EU is a failing and unanswerable organisation which needs massive reform.

I don't think I can vote Conservative until all of their old guard are gone. Hearing Tory MPs bleating about the suggested help for underprivileged students getting to Oxbridge yesterday was just absolutely shocking in modern day Britain. I don't feel the Conservative MPs have a realistic grasp of real life Britain, I don't think Labour are that much better and the Lib Dems have proved that they can't be trusted anymore than the other two.

In short, I think this time I will do a lot more research on candidates standing for local issues and vote accordingly.

UKIP are pretty banana splitish, they want to cut spending on practically everything except the military which they want to massively increase spending on iirc.

You should just write "You are a bunch of sell out, spineless banana splits" in bright red lipstick across the ballot paper, then stick it to the polling booth wall with excrement.

 I have the same dilemma. My current answer is to draw or write something incredibly offensive on the ballot paper.I want to make someone in 'the system' cry.

I am indeed. Because I don't care who people would like to be in power (because then the answer should be: "Me!"). Nor whether in future elections a reasonable alternative is available. I'm interested in who has the majority support now. It's a narrow poll because I'm posing a narrow question. The parties I've chosen were based on who has at least 1 MP. UKIP has no representative in any UK administration (even the Welsh one, which is essentially a residents committee*).

EDIT: Sorry, forgot my pledge.

Aye...They are pretty banana splitish. Based my poll decision purely on Nigel Farage being a bit of a bad ass.
