Labour, but one of their manifesto pledges needs to be firing the front benchers into the sun.

Can't really trust the Tories, not with Lansley, Pickles, Gove and Osborne at the helm at any rate. The Lib Dems need a much more assertive, much less Tory-in-Lib Dem clothing leader; someone you can actually trust. Nobody else stands a chance of electoral victory so I won't comment on them.

You've living in a dream world. All of them are likely to strawberry float up the country. All of them.

But they're not Tories and they don't have the Tory front bench.

Surely in these times of austerity, Eric Pickles should give up the cream cakes. :shifty:

Labour in the lead? God help us all.

I'd never vote for them with Ed at the helm and Harriet as his deputy. Terrible combination.

I'd probably go UKIP or Conservative, although every party does a great job as coming across as very unappealing.

I am indeed. Because I don't care who people would like to be in power (because then the answer should be: "Me!"). Nor whether in future elections a reasonable alternative is available. I'm interested in who has the majority support now. It's a narrow poll because I'm posing a narrow question. The parties I've chosen were based on who has at least 1 MP. UKIP has no representative in any UK administration (even the Welsh one, which is essentially a residents committee*).

EDIT: Sorry, forgot my pledge.

Your thread is called "How would you vote in a snap election?", not "Which of the big parties would you vote for in a snap election".

I actually like the idea of just writing "banana splits" across my ballot. Might have to do that next time if there are no decent independents. 8-)

If UKIP call themselves a big party then I shall sue them under the Trade Descriptions Act (1968).
