What's the general opinion of him on here?

I think he's great, but I suspect he divides opinion. I like watching his programmes and always tell myself I'm going to try his recipes, even though I never do.

I like him. I've never tried cooking anything that he's made but I enjoy watching his programs.

He's especially good at Christmas. If only I could persuade my parents to try something other than turkey for Christmas dinner. :fp:

I like him.. he has some very interesting and quirky recipes.
And he's very knowledgeable about wildlife and farming.

And he seems quite down to earth, if a bit posh.
Good bloke.

I saw him go to a Halloween party, made pumpkin soup, dressed up, played some fun games round a camp fire.

I wanted to be him that moment.

Then he ate some dog gooseberry fool sandwich with ink.

When Gamers Go Bad!! No. 2!!

Better than a dogshit sandwich. At least placenta is meat.

Got the missus a crate of this last christmas - I think it was called Stinger.

Bizarrely enough it did actually leave a tingly, nettley sensation on the palate. :?

I certainly didn't buy a second.
