First off this is an attack against Hugo in any way.

I'm just curious as to what his favourite games are as well as an explenation as to how they are a superior experience to anything else on the market.

Maybe this doesn't deserve a topic but im sure alot of people would love to play some of the games he is so passionate about.

Come on then Hugo give us some games to play.

I don't care if this gets locked after a list of games. Im geniunely curious as to what games he feels are the best ever or on the market so i can dabble myself.

No im being 100% serious. I'm not posting this to cause trouble... at all and thats a promise. I've just noticed out of the majority of the forum you are by far the most passionate about certains games and genres and im yet to notice a complete list of must plays by you.

He's not the most passionate. He just doesn't know when to shut the strawberry float up.

Great thread, btw.

Loves us all since 2008

Sensible World Of Soccer is unparalleled genius, in the same way some people feel about Super Mario Brothers 3 or Super Mario World...except better. Seriously, you don't understand quite how good this game is. More than any other single thing (let alone videogame), this has defined entertainment.

I don't want to speak for the lad, but he's been championing a little known game called Killzone 2 all year. He'll not shut up about it, honestly.
He's also in the process of buying me inFamous for my birthday - a true act of altruism, indeed. He was going to give me his copy of Viking but I said "Whoa now Hugo, come on mate - it's my birthday and that but you needn't give your prized possessions to me, y'know what I mean?" He begrudgingly accepted, and inFamous is on its way.

...isn't that game at the centre of a review scandal?

I think you're understating it slightly.

That's Sensible Soccer 2006. SWOS is actually good. Not as good as Hugo thinks mind, but still a really good game.

You mean Sensible Soccer 2006? And by at the centre of a review scandal, do you mean had a dodgy looking review a few years ago?

One of the best games ever. Wouldn't be stating it too strongly.

I have no idea, I just remember a thread on a game with the word 'Soccer' in it. I can't play footy games on a console to save my life :fp:

It's a puddle deep game that resembles football as much as Mario Kart resembles F1.
