Human Extinction

Fed up talking videogames? Why?

If all human life was extinguished in one go, would it be a bad thing?[/quote]

Mankind is the primary driving force behind the ongoing Holocene Mass Extinction, the sixth mass extinction event since life began on Earth. We're emptying the world of vertebrate life at an alarming rate and thoroughly ruining its biodiversity, not to mention polluting it with little idea of the consequences to the food chain, and altering its climate at rates too fast for many species to survive.

We're strawberry floating everything up and it's extremely upsetting to those of us who understand that.

While true, that doesn't mean it'd be better if humans went extinct instead. I think that'd be even more tragic

I don't believe our extinction is the solution, but perhaps if we are able to colonize other worlds, that will allow us to depopulate and re-wild large tracts of the Earth, turning them into vast new nature preserves.

This originally all came from be bemoaning the state of British politics. I think on the whole, humanity is alright. It's just the politicians that keep strawberry floating it up for the rest of us. Maybe we could just fire them all into the sun?

Politicians getting too close to The Sun is one of the reasons things are so shitty.

I think just gently prodding them over and over again until they all go insane would be a better option and it would create employment for the people doing the prodding.
