I just bought a PS3!

I just bought a used 80gb PS3 for £100 from work. I was going to buy a Blu-ray player anyway but couldn't resist at that price. Taking it home I was hoping to give it a right good seeing to but discovered that the idiot who reduced it hadn't formatted the machine, so i've had to that and the machine says it's going to take 5 HOURS!! Dear God!

Anyway, during this short lifetime of waiting, i'm compiling a little shopping list. I hadn't intended to buy the console with me being quite happy with my Wii60 set up but thought I might as well dabble. I'm particularly interested in what downloadable games are available as I think I know what's worth getting on disc. I'll be buying GTi Club (a pure nostalgic indulgence) but not sure where to go from there. I'm interested in getting some PS One games as I think there's a few on there, and the retro side of things is one I really want to explore although i'll give everything a try.

Any recommendations?
