Yeah, the first time you get behind the wheel it's scary as anything. You're in control of a ton of metal that could easily kill a person AND you're still trying to figure out how the bastarding clutch works, and why it has a biting point and how this is in anyway useful to you.

I don't really see what it achieves. Like you say, even if you click as soon as you spot the potential hazard, the program might not register it. I almost messed it up twice. Luckily I scraped through on my second attempt.

get it wrong and you could spend 4 or 5 years in prison for killing someone and the guilt will haunt your forever. Nothing to worry about though :D

The guy who sits behind me at work used to be a driving instructor and said that you can click several times for each hazard. That's as long as you don't click repetitively or just randomly click, obviously.

I just clicked once as soon as I spotted each hazard and passed it quite convincingly.

Good for you, but the theory is nothing compared to the practical.

I scored 66/75 in my perception test... more than enough to become a driving instructor. I am a testing Jedi.

But yes, I clicked for initial sighting of hazard, then again when it was a more immediate danger.

I got 4 minors in my practical, do I win a prize?

In my theory I got 49/50 (piece of piss) and I only dropped a few on my hazard perception.

Also, my proper test is next monday. I hope to join the 8 minors crew.

Annoyingly, my test centre is booked up until AFTER I head to Uni. It's been booked solid for ages, so I'll have to wait until I come back at Christmas or something.

It always takes your highest click (over here, anyway), so it's safe to click any time something changes (Which is the rule for the N.I test). So you'd click when the cyclist appears, then again when he goes to turn onto the road.

Congratulations, now go out there, and endanger those pedestrians.
