If you Found Someone's Wallet on the Ground...

I'd take the money and hand the wallet in, but if i were in a hurry I'd probably just throw it in a bin.

I was in my local pub last friday the pub was packed people were using the cash machine near me all night. Someone left a tenner in the cash dispenser i took it. Bad i know but trying to find the person whos tenner it was would of been impossible.

I'd normally say, take a tenner and return it anonymously, but my morals surprised me when I found a wallet in the dining hall of my second year of uni, and I handed it in without even looking inside it.

I think it was a Jewish guy's (so I probably missed out on some serious dolla!), and he found out I did so and thanked me. I think.

I shall never be so nice again.

Cash in wallet - I'd hand it over to the police.

Cash in street - I'd keep it.

I'd most likely just leave it on the floor.

I must be a total bastard or something cos i can't believe how many people voted for handing it in! At end of day the wallet owner prolly drives a Ferrari and is a right git so yeah im keepin your god damn money strawberry floater. I wouldn't use the cards, that'd be idiocy but free cash is free cash.

What sort of crazy world do you live in? Anyone can drop a wallet accidently, not just the rich. Stop making excuses for your own selfishness.

Return it. I found one in a pub full of cash. I looked at the ID, shouted the name out, returned it, and got £50s worth of bevvies for my honesty.

Another time, I left mine in the off license. 10 minutes later the lad who worked there was at my door handing it back. Legend.

I would certainly look through the entire thing, but after that I'd return the lot.

It'd just be sods law for me i reckon that the person would be rich!!!

From looking at the results of the poll, I am quite surprised that so many people would do the right thing and hand the wallet into a police station.

My faith in society has been (somewhat) restored
