That's a very good point, Alvin. Kudos.

All great points except for the fact that Nintendo DID get it right first time.

The only real question is why it's taking them so long to find a way to follow it up.

At the end of the day, if you include the PC, there are four different platforms out there – they don’t all have to be strawberry floating identical. And you don’t have to like them all.

To be fair, the normal strategy wasn’t working for Nintendo. Sony came along & did it better, & then Microsoft turned up &, insultingly, also did too. They had to try something new otherwise we’d likely be sitting here discussing the demise of Nintendo.

A) Daemon is not a journalist & B) he’s failed miserably at getting his point across, while doing so in a typically American fashion.

He's not a journalist, I bet he doesn't even have a degree in journalism, he's just some hack IGN picked out of a crowd of other hacks.

You don't have to have a journalism degree to be a journalist.

In fact very few journalists have degrees in 'journalism'. And I'm not just talking about games here.

I think the argument is that unless you go out and find stories and act in a certain amount of an unbiased way, you can't really be called a journalist.
