Tbh I don't put games in an order, there are plenty of games in this list I'd enjoy, I just like the debates these things cause.

I think you'd struggle to get even the most avid Nintendo fan to honestly declare that Super Smash Bros. Brawl is one of the ten best video games of this generation.

Whatever, still salty over Demon's Souls.

Discussions about best-of lists are literally the worst thing on the internet.

This list can't be serious.

IGN really is filled with idiots.

Mass effect number?! :fp: Did they give a reason? Yes it was good, but so was uncharted etc etc.

Apart from mass effect and the rockstar games, the top 10 list was okay.

Also, there's a reason why it's a Modern Games list. Without it, you wouldn't be able to put Mass Effect 2 at the top and get tons of money from EA.

Glad to see Mass Effect 2 get another reward, thoroughly deserved. Mario Galaxy 2 should've come second though.

Fixed.

How those games are in the top 50 I don't know.

I own 89/100 of those games.

If Smash Brothers was made by anyone other than Nintendo people would rip it to pieces.

Probably because it wouldn't have anything close to the amount of content.

Or is it because it doesn't require you to memorise 60-button combos to play it? Not hardcore enough?
