We all know it should be, but hey, this is Americans voting.

Mass Effect 2 > Mario Galaxy 2

I would usually post a gif of some form of laughing, but you don't deserve an amusing gif.

Demon's Souls was better than the both of them.

I might have agreed with ME2 being top if they hadn't dumbed it down and made it more of a shooter. I'm worried about ME3 after seeing the E3 stuff.

ME2 at number 1? I can live with that.

This is the 'modern' video games list. Galaxy 2 carries the essence of what Nintendo has continually added to this industry over the course of its existence. Galaxy 2 is the industry's backbone, it has a combination of touches both old and new which not only drive the industry forward, but also provides classic, proven gameplay which will draw in a plethora of gamers in. ME2 is far more niche but contains the modern innovations which secures its place as a game which truly drives forward the medium.

Personally I would have put Halo 3 in that list over Reach and would have put it in a much higher place. Halo 3 was the start of hardcore gaming truly being taken seriously, it was the industry's first blockbuster, and carved the way for many to follow.

Also where the strawberry float is Phoenix Wright? Easily better than many of the games on there.

Maybe not counted since they are basically GBA ports.

Really, you're really going to deny both the success and quality of Halo 3?

I don't normally like 'lists', unless they're compiled from (1000's) of votes. I had a look anyway.
I was shocked to discover the omission of the game that gave us the best online mp experience this gen.

Yes, that's right - Red Faction Guerrilla.

Compiling from votes is a bad idea. Otherwise number 1 would be Just Dance followed by Codblops.
