The two other best time trial circuits are Ghost Valley 1, and Rainbow Road - RR especially is amazing if you get a perfect race.

I'll give RR a go seeing as I kick even Matt's arse on that in 8

Then two players came along an destroyed everyone else with their times.

After this week I'm considering changing the format slightly and I want your opinions on this. Should the evidence images be posted "in thread" or by PM? In thread can spur people on to keep going, but it means there's little suspense in the updates as you just need to pay attention.

Or there is a compromise. Where the first half of the week (Say from Wed-Sat) you post in the thread, then PM me after that. Lets people see a benchmark, but means I have something I can "reveal on the Wednesday night.

What do you guys think?

Wouldn't it be better to just have the best time by each person on the board? At least people can place somewhere then.

I have broken the 1.02 barrier in Mario Kart - just set a new fastest time! It's getting a bit more difficult for me to get the times down...Hopefully Ad7 won't be along any time soon

Definitely this. Everyone knows the fastest person can go slower, so there's no point in them taking up the whole board, and it's nice to see other people's times.

I completely agree - I need to see how much faster I am than anyone else

Just kidding, but I do agree that it's better to just take our fastest score, to get everyone else on the leaderboard - it also helps to see whose playing, and who our closest competitors are!

As a spectator, I vote for: post updates in thread, and only 1 time per person on the board.

Also, maybe make it a top 10, instead of top 5, so I might feature on it maybe?

Also, perhaps it would be cool if everyone had their best score included on the board? I’d hate for this to create a ton of work for Cheeky, but I don’t think it’d be too onerous? My thinking is that everyone who entered would then feel “included”.

I've turned my attention to F-Zero, and am pleased to announce a new fastest Mute City 1 time, for now

Total Race Time for Mute City 2 - 2:02:97 (the pink car, Fire Stingray)

Fastest lap: 0:23:66 (so not quite the fastest lap - am struggling to match that)

I'm not actually convinced I can go much faster than this on Mute City 1, so here's hoping no-none beats it too quickly.

Andy, amazing Mute City time I thought mine was good, I can't see how it's possible to get any quicker!

You need to PM Stay Dead about 1 min before the deadline for maximum dream destruction.

Unfortunately I believe the Wii VC versions are the PAL/50Hz titles, which run slower so I won't accept those.

I will accept scores from other emulated versions of the game but they must be the NTSC/60Hz version.

As for the score board, if everyone is in favour of just showing the best times for each player in the top 5, then so be it.

I'll update the boards later on today.
