Importing MP3's to the Podcast feed in iTunes (on a PC)

Does anyone know of something I can download to allow me to put MP3 files into the podcast feed section of iTunes on a PC? Ages ago I downloaded a lot of the old GFW's and Retronauts shows and I find it much easier to keep track of what I have and haven't listened to when the little blue dot is/isn't there in the podcast feed, but importing the MP3 files puts them in the music section.

Im pretty sure you cant do this, you will have to download them in itunes for them to show up in the podcast section.

Have you tried putting the MP3s in the podcast folder in the iTunes library?

Also changing the genre or type to Podcast might help.
