Checkout Snapseed. It's free and better than instagram for mucking with your photos if you really want to get into it, although I generally prefer the simplicity of instagram.

Very nice. I was thinking about getting a Fuji X100 to keep with me all the time, but then I realised if I get an iPhone 5 that's more than adequate. Great camera.

I'd love one but can't really justify one at that price. I could buy a new lens for my DSLR and should probably upgrade my camera body as well.


Hopefully they'll announce a replacement soonish so the price halfs or something.

They have announced a replacement, and I'm sure plenty of proper gearfags will ditch theirs to replace it.

They've fixed up the manual focussing good and proper by the sounds of it, digital split image, so as close to rangefinder type as you can get without it actually being one. I'm pretty green for it myself, but I'm happy as could be with the 100 as it is, and cannot justify the expense.

It's become my main camera though, so unless I know I'll need a longer focal length, that's all that goes with me.

Awesome. You just know the x100 is going to be highly sought after on eBay and the like, though.

Wasn't sure what the fuss with manual focusing was, anyway. There's nothing wrong with the AF, I thought.


Things are moving fast, these days, though. We'll all be shooting full frame before we know it.

I dunno, I do enjoy manual focus, and after they styled the 100 so much after old school RF cameras, there were plenty of people who were disappointed to discover that it actually wasn't.

But yeah, have you seen the new Sony full frame RX1? So compact. It's amazing. Can't wait until there's a genuine Leica competitor out there at a reasonable price. It can't be that far off.
