Right, I'm fairly sure this is an issue with the wireless connection between my computer and my router rather than with my internet connection itself, but the thing's really pissing me off. Every now and again, it will refuse to connect to any websites, and it will sign me out of MSN, but it will stay connected to Steam, and continue to update games etc. I try running a diagnosis on my internet connection, and it says it's found no issues. So I run a diagnosis using MSN messenger and it says it's a DNS error. Disabling then re-enabling my wireless adapter seems to fix this issue, temporarily, but it keeps happening.
On top of this, I've been having issues whenever I try to play TF2 as my internet connection seems to drop completely, I'll get the not connected message in the system tray, when I look for games maybe 70% of the time.
I had no trouble with this adapter before, so I don't see why it would be crapping out on me now, but I'm not sure what the strawberry float else it would be.
EDIT: It happened again whilst I was typing this.
I have to open up a page to connect to my BT Home Hub, and there it tells me that an internet connection is not active, but clicking a button that says connect to the internet fixes it for a short while. Thing is, the lights on the router show that there is an internet connection, and I'm still connected to my Steam friends list.
