Belfast date, come on. Not that fussed on Book of Souls, but if the set is peppered with older tracks, I'd be happy.

Just an FYI, I'm now back in the UK and living in Birmingham, so yet another different city to see them in. Although, if I miss out on the first round of tickets, we all know it'll only be London that gets an extra date, so I'll totally be heading down for that one.

Looked it up - it's about two thirds of book of souls and six set staples(Trooper, Number of the Beast etc) if it's an extension of the book of souls tour.

Will probably pass if it is Book of Souls tbh, seen them four times already and not really interested in paying £50+ to see an alright album played when I've already seen them playing greatest hits and know it won't get close.

Based on their touring pattern over the last decade, aren't we now due another "past era" themed tour, like the Maiden England one? Although, the next would be 90s era, so that's No Prayer, Fear, X and XI as albums to draw from. Can't see that being the best setlist, but it would be great to hear some of the lesser played ones from there.

I'm hoping so but they've said they won't do another 80s touring session and although I'd like to hear some of the 90s stuff, it was a really patchy decade for them.

I'm hoping for a good announcement, but logically I'm thinking it will be an extension of the Book of Souls tour into the UK.

It's Book of Souls again

http://ironmaiden.com/news/article/iron ... -into-2017

Roll on May

Edit : also, strawberry floating lol m8

it is terrific to return to the intimacy and atmosphere of arenas.

I know arenas are the smallest Maiden will ever play, but intimacy is not the right adjective.

Book of Souls tour and no Belfast date. No thanks.

I'm probably gonna be crucified for this, but Shinedown are not too bad. My sister would listen to them, one of their albums is pretty decent at that genre of music. Probably going to get bottles of piss thrown at them.

Their album The Sound of Madness is fantastic, and I won't hear any differently.

£65.25 plus £3.45 delivery for a paperless ticket. :|

Beat the touts by getting the price gouging in first, is it?

I've still bought it, obviously.

Lol I was charged £8 delivery for mine in London! Packaged as a "service charge", which is probably for all the extra staff and rubber gloves they'll need.

Also had my mum buying tickets for Dublin and she's ended up with 4 standing because the first email says she got a pair of seats and she panicked and bought standing. As it turns out they first pair are actually standing after all. Nicely done Ticketmaster. :fp:

Just as expected, they've added a second London show. http://ironmaiden.com/news/article/due- ... -frankfurt

I got my standing Birmingham ticket, though, so I'm happy.

I think the album I heard is called Amaryllis. It was quite good.

65 quid for a ticket is strawberry floating insane. I think I paid something like £45 seated when I went to see them in Belfast.

Couldn't get Brum. Ended up getting tickets for Newcastle and the second London date.

Eight quid service charge though, absolute joke.

There's a rather nice set of Bruce re-releases for vinyl collectors, due in October.

Without thinking about it, I'd have guessed at about five years. Love a bit of Devil on a Hog. Skunkworks has always been my favourite though.
