If/when it happens, I'm pretty much guaranteed to end up getting it on both Switch and Xbox. Maybe PC too, depending on system requirements.

It does need a PC version and from what I recall the game's code was a complete mess.

I hadn't expected this, despite the rumours!

Edit: "modern PlayStation systems" seemingly means PS4 rather than PS5.

They've excluded Xbox to goad Phil Spencer into buying the company.

Push Square are reporting that the PlayStation version is a port rather than a remake or even a remaster. At forty wraps, I'll stick with my 360 version.

If only Rockstar had stacks of money, they then might have been able to stretch to making a few enhancements to the game for these releases.

Maybe they tried doing an Xbox version, but they're so useless it ended up looking worse than the original on BC.

EDIT: Didn't see it's just a straight port. Explains it all.

Tbf, if people have a One X, S or X then the game is upscaled and looks great anyway.

Well, I have to say, this being on the Switch will likely get me to play it. Got it on Xbox ages ago and barely did, but the Switch sees more use in terms of new games played, so... may as well see if I will with this.

It does sound pretty neat to have a game of that scale on a handheld system, Rula. I'm gonna be looking out for your initial thoughts when the game launches on the 17th!

I’ll see how it looks on Switch, just being a port pushes me more towards the Xbox version though, plus I can see the physical version being a minimal amount on the cart type of situation.

If you only played the PS3 version there's some mild improvements to be had I'd imagine (sub 720p resolution and 25-30fps, basically; presumably some screen-tearing removal that was present on 360 if I recall) if you fancy purchasing when it's heavily discounted. Aside from that, they've clearly phoned this one in.

Surprised they've not re-released Bully (terrible version on the PS Store currently) and Table Tennis (never released outside of Xbox 360 and Wii).

Would be quite tempted to get it on Switch, it might even push me to bother installing the second on PC rather than letting it sit there unplayed for another year. :slol:

The fact this isn’t on Xbox is likely very telling. Probably hardly any difference running the 360 version on an Xbox Series X and this new one on a PS4 Pro/PS5. Looking at eBay, will still set you back about £15-£20 though.

Imagine if a PS5 remaster was done by Grove Street Games. Then people would have been begging for the 360 port to begin with.
