Is it weird to go to the cinema by yourself?

The Lion King 3D is out in cinemas this weekend and I really kinda want to go see it but I don't think anyone would go with me. It was the first film I had ever seen the first time I went to a cinema. I feel like seeing it again for nostalgia.

Anyone else here feel like going to see it in 3D in the cinema?

If I had to kill sometime in the afternoon, I can't see why it would be wrong to go alone. Well, it isn't wrong a at all. I've never done it but wouldn't feel self conscious about doing so. At night, I think it depends. If I lived right next to the cinema, probably would now and then on weekday but since I don't I alway go with friends. Tha's just my problem though of not being a stronger person in those situations
