Or indeed, Golden Axe on the XBLA.

Probably 'cause it's actually better. But I should know better than to reply to that.

Sometimes you have to bend to majority opinion, Fishfingers. I think Lumines is a pile of wank, and Tetris really isn't that great either, but that's because these types of games just aren't my thing. I think they're bad, but I know that to many they're excellent, and pinnacles of the genre. Braid and Castle Crashers have both been received incredibly well and definitely aren't boring.

Well really, Castle Crashers looks like **** and it's just a copy of Golden Axe. Why would someone buy this instead of the original on Nintendo Wii Virtual Console?

Golden Axe is gooseberry fool.

If you are going to use that argument why not pick the best game in the genre, especially when its available on both VC and XBLA...that would of course be Streets of Rage 2.

But really your argument is like asking why would anyone buy Company of Heroes when they can have Dune 2, or why buy Half Life 2 when you can have Doom. Its an especially stupid way of putting it.

Lets not talk shite, eh?

Uncharted, Motorstorm, MGS4, Ratchet, Resistance, etc are better than games on PSN, games like Uncharted & MGS4 are better than anything on 360, never mind PSN

I don't think you'd find many who think its that clear cut.

I'd personally take Siren, Eden, Everyday Shooter, Monsters and Warhawk over the 5 you mention (Uncharted is the only one that I'd miss in fact).

Having spent most of yesterday and today trying to sort out the mess my RROD caused ive finally got back my xbla games minus game saves via the DRM migration. So in answer to the question, no live arcade is not better - give me a disk anyday over some downloaded ones and zeros floating around in the ether.

MHTL have you had a 360 RROD?

So, do you agree with suzzopher? that PSN has much better exclusives than PS3 discs?
You can't count Warhawk as PSN if its a retail disc aswell, I didnt include Warhawk in my list because of this

Eden, Flow, Monsters, Warhawk, GT5P, Superstar Dust HD, Blast Factor, Calling All Cars, Tekken DR, Siren, Ratchet and Clank QFB and The Last Guy

vs

Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank TOD, MGS4, Motorstorm, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Lair.

I think you'll find that the overall quality on PSN is higher than disc.

no, your just listing mostly ok-ish games by quantity against the PS3 exclusive games, you could do the same with the XBLA & 360 exclusive games aswell

and Warhawk & GTP don't count

Actually, I HAVE that Live Arcade Unplugged disk knocking around here someplace.

I never EVER play it. Too much like effort to dig it out if I want to kill a few minutes playing Geo Wars.

I think the fact you are missing the point that PSN has a much more varied and exciting line up than the PS3 disc games is kinda deluded.

Once LBP launches then you'll have an argument until then I would be quiet if I were you.

Eh! PSN has a better line-up than retail?
