Developer: Weird Beard
Platforms: PlayStation 4, PC (Steam - Win/Mac/Lin)
Modes: Single-player, up to 4 player multiplayer (local and online)

I've been playing this for the last few days (waiting for Dishonoured 2 to be released), and in that time it has totally managed to hook me. Again. But this time more so than ever after I spotted the Like a glove... trophy.

Finish trial #6 with 3 hearts left without picking up a spell.

The thing which makes Tricky Towers such a good Tetris clone is the fact its tetrominoes/other pieces are allowed to be semi-violently nudged into place, and also be placed with more freedom. What makes these changes a bit of genius is the fact the shapes also have a weight to them. So whilst you have more freedom with shapes, you also have to be wary about shapes not toppling over or flying off.

Whilst this thread was just an excuse for me to celebrate my getting the glove trophy, I really do think more people should give the game a chance. Especially those PS+ members who got it for free a while back.

There's ****ing up, and then there's sheer blind panic. Nobody does it better.

:P Thank you!

Oh yeah, another difference is in this you aren't trying to eliminate blocks, instead the goal is to build a steady-ish tower. So it is indeed kind of like a mix between Tetris and a 2D Jenga. Kind of. Maybe.

I play it semi-regularly with the Mrs (this and proper Tetris are the only games she's really interested in). It's deceptively difficult but good fun and quite charming.
