It is pancake day - just one of many days you can eat pancakes

Don't particularly like pancakes that much, I'll eat them as a main (filled with chilli or bolognese) but as a dessert I'm not fussed.

They were yummy...in a sandwich.

They do, though they're made by Birds Eye these days and the filling is now tomato and mozzarella. I've seen them for a quid for a pack of 4 on and off.

Have an entire pancake themed day!

No more horse?

Fact check: Tortillas are made from corn flour, pancakes are made from wheat flour.

Maybe the mozzarella is made of horse milk.

Oh yeah, I’d certainly hope they’d moved on from that now. But it’s telling that they don’t do the “minced beef” pancakes any more.

Anyway, I’ve just bought myself a Breville sandwich toaster, but that’s a whole other thread.

God tier kitchen equipment. Just remember if you do a cheese and jam toastie, you are basically replicating the heat on the surface of the sun.
A George Foreman is also a good addition to the worktop.

On the subject of minced beef, most of the takeaways around here do Chicken, Prawn and "meat" curries. Its not lamb and its not beef...

Possibly goat. Not much meat on a dog and all the humans around here are fat bastards.

Quite possibly. You do see them at the animal marts now and then buying broken down sheep.

Bump, in case people forgot.

All set with lemon, sugar, golden syrup and Nutella. Not all together.
