I wonder if the PSP will end the year as the best-selling system?

The DS seems to have rallied a bit recently with the release of DQV, Rhythm Tengoku Gold, Band Bros., and Fire Emblem, but there's quite a gap to make up.

I think it's possible for the DS to make up the gap when u include the run up to xmas. However i have no idea what releases are instore for the PSP b4 then,

Are software slaes up or down compared to this time last year? It's just that 79,000 doesn't seem like that huge a number to me for a title thats topping the charts.

For all the 360s problems in Japan it is starting to look more and more like it will reach the million console mark in Japan. It might not be anywhere near the PS3 or Wii but it certainly lloks like an improvment on the original Xbox.

Last week was a pretty big week.

I think Japanese kids are heading back to school, so there may be a bit of a downturn.
