Sadly my 360 died.

I'd like to buy another but don't know if I can justify it... should've probably just bought an S during the recent offers as I'd like to be able to play Red Dead, Tekken Tag 2, AC2, Witcher 2, SSX, Gears & some of the racing games. Plus I prefer Live to PSN.

I no longer have a PS3 or a 360 but between Xbone backwards compatibility and Steam/uPlay/Origin I think i'm pretty covered.

Not so much last gen, although a lot of the games that I've played lately on my PC are technically last gen.

However I am playing a lot from the generations before, the Dreamcast, Mega Drive, SNES and Gamecube have all had a fair bit of play time lately. It's so satisfying being able to plug, play and dive straight into a game, find it very frustrating how almost every time I turn on my PS4 I seem to need to update it before I can do anything.

I was moaning about this just last night to me friend. I long for the days where you just plugged a cartridge in (after blowing it for dust, obvs) and then just got on with playing. So simple

It really does make such a difference, was playing Super Monkey Ball last night on my Gamecube. I was up and running within seconds, it ran smoothly and looked beautiful.

I first got into console gaming because it was a nice alternative to PC gaming in terms of its simplicity, nowadays it's probably easier and quicker for me to get a game up and running on Steam than on a console.
