Some people's internal QA processes are a bit stringent. Post first, think later.

I'll agree to that if you stop changing your name.

I'd enjoy the whole forum more if Dan.'s name was changed more frequently.

I think we should swap Dan. and Photek's names and avatars.

I'd enjoy the forum a whole lot more if we stripped avatars and signatures, then shuffled everyone's names round at random.

I only post pipe in hand with my best smoking jacket on.

I think it comes across in the elegance of my posts.

I love this place, and everyone here is part of the make-up, and the place would be poorer without any one of them.

Until I go into the politics thread. That one makes me want to kill myself.

BUMP!

I stumbled across this thread whilst searching for stuff to do with Driv3rgate because I'm hip and wanted to keep up with all the latest gaming scandals as they happen.

Anyway I found it interesting reading over people's feelings about the forum from ~2 years ago and was wondering if anything had changed in that time? Do people still think the same problems exist on the forum? Do you still think the same things are good about it?

Has anything improved in that time? :toot:

Are things worse!? :dread:

Whilst I've been a member since the Games Radar days and hopped over to the GRcade from pretty much day 1 I haven't really been all that active in that time so can't really compare the current forum to any potential "golden era", but for my money this is still my favourite corner of the internet and I've enjoyed posting more frequently over the last year and getting to know some folks a bit better in that time.

Any other forum or group I've ever dipped my toes into in the gaming world has been a lot less welcoming and friendly than here so even if we're not the busiest I think there is plenty to be proud of about this place!
