Your game of E3: Super Mario Odyssey, though if they'd had something to show it could have been Metroid Prime 4.
Three other games that you are excited about: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Spider-Man, Metroid: Samus Returns
Something that made you go "Wow!": Metroid Prime 4 was THE moment for me this year, with Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle coming a close second due to it looking like a damn good game rather than another shitty Rabbids cash in. Oh and BG&E2 getting officially announced.
Something that made you go "That's... disappointing": Assassins Creed: Origins - Meh, I'd hoped for a bigger change after the year off.
Oh, and I want to say this: In a year of distinctly average showings, for me Nintendo came out and did exactly what they needed to. They showed off some good looking (and some amazing looking) games for 2017, while showing stuff that will be coming in 2018. Add to that the confirmation of Pokémon Switch (Hoping for mid-late 2018 on that one) and the megaton that was not one, but two new Metroid games and they absolutely nailed it for me. Best overall showing and I've not felt this confident in Nintendo in a long time. And that's with the notable omission of Virtual Console news and online details. Ubisoft came a decent second, with Sony third (Great games just a bit too far off), Bethesda fourth (Wolfenstein!!!), MS fifth (Good general showing but lacked the wow I needed to push me over the Xbox One edge) and EA dead last. Only A Way Out and Battlefront II salvaged it for them as it was godawful otherwise. PC Gaming did it's own thing, but was decent as well. Was great to see more of Wargroove.

It certainly seems to have been divisive, Lotus - some folk enjoyed the humour whilst others just weren't on board with it!
If by worst you mean best then yes, I agree. It was the perfect takedown of the shitey corporate nonsense that characterise all the other conferences. It was like an art installation of pure poison.

If by perfect takedown of the shitey corporate nonsense that characterise all the other conferences you mean a show full of pureile humour, failed joke after failed joke, cringeworthy moments and a general vibe of trying too hard to be attention-seeking and different, then yes, I agree.
Looks like it has to be Super Mario Odyssey. Just by looking at the videos it looks so much fun to play, although I am wary of following too much coverage and spoiling the experience when I get it.

Mario Rabbids - looks pretty good and will be a treat playing it on a handheld machine Days Gone - looks like it could be a top title No others tbh
> Something that made you go "Wow!":
Just Nintendo turning their fortunes around makes me happy. I didn't think the Switch would be a success initially, but how wrong I was and I underestimated the impact of it being a handheld. Zelda also helped and the games are nicely spaced out. I actually don't mind paying £50 when the games are this good!
> Something that made you go "That's... disappointing":
Gran Turismo Sport - doesn't look too great does it? I cannot see how this is going to be anything other than a dull affair and even the graphics (apart the cars) look a bit average Xbox One X - overly expensive and I really don't see it doing that well. Assassins Creed Origins - looks pretty boring tbh No Shenmue 3 or Shenmue HD announcement was a bit disappointing, but fully expected
> Oh, and I want to say this:
A pretty average E3 in terms of big announcements, but it was to be expected.
