What do you call Nintendo's 16-bit console?

Okay, for this edition of Asks I've been inspired by a quote in a Nintendo Life article:

...with British folks referring to Nintendo’s 16-bit console as ‘S-ness’...

Uhm... what?! "S-ness"? I've never heard it pronounced that way!

Naturally, I have sought to gain a definitive pronunciation by rushing straight to GRcade.

I think they're just highlighting the 'ness' part of the pronunciation. Because 'sness' is the right way to say it.

"Snez" or "Snes", virtually the same.

S-N-E-S or Snes is the correct way, but it will forever by the Snez to me.

SNES. It was only from the internet that I discovered people pronounced it SNEZ

I hear people calling it the Super-Nez on YouTube and I cringe.

Exactly kids always said SneZ with an emphasis on a ending Z type sound ....its since modern times people have claimed they never said it like that etc

If I ever met someone who called it the N-E-S-2 I think I'd try and spill their drink.

Nah, completely the opposite for me. Everyone at school called is SneS. Literally never heard anyone call it SneZ as a kid
