Definitely

I am in no rush for the maybe category and can absolutely wait until their prices plummet a few months or so after release.

I love the look of the Horizon games. If I had an XBO I'd definitely want this one.

This's what I'm gonna do, Trelliz. I got tired of having my fingers burnt on titles where the price dropped substantially mere weeks after release.

2K store is a joke.

Its more expensive, but if you want it at launch then GAME have it to order...

Thank you! My Amazon pre-order was about £90 so I'm still saving a bit of money and I'll get it at launch :toot:

Does that 25th Anniversary edition include a season pass for future DLC?

Edit: tried to order it but GAME's site isn't letting me pay for it and just keeps going back to the basket screen.

If you've got a 360 you can get Horizon 1 free with Gold next month and there is a surprisingly good port of Horizon 2 for 360, its amazing how well they cram the game from a much more powerful console onto much older hardware. Its obviously nowhere near as pretty as on Xbone, but it provides a remarkably analogous experience. It was done by Sumo Digital who don't seem to acknowledge its existence. It has an infinite money glitch which is very easy to do as well.

It does have the season pass. I had that problem but I managed to pay for it by adding something else that was in stock and then removing it from my basket.

Haven't used the GAME site for a few years and it looks like someone has been using or hacked my account as the default delivery address has been changed to somewhere in London , luckily I didn't have any card details saved on there and have managed to change my password so I should be alright.

I probably should change my email address though, just to make sure they can't do it again.

Thanks, Trelliz - I do have a 360 but I don't pay out for a Gold sub. I think I might get one of the 360 Horizon games if I see one in good condition for a decent price.

Just Deus Ex and Pokemon Sun for me, maybe DR4 if it's out in time but I still have to play through DR3 so we'll see about that.

Yes, I've heard so many good things about Thousand. I've only put a few hours into Super Papes on the Wii but I liked that; the 2D / 3D twist was great!
Super Dragon 64 wrote:TTYD is the only Papes game that I've actually finished. I bought Sticker Star to play before Colour Splash but I might just wait for Colour Splash and go back to the others next year.

Hmmn... maybe it's time for the return of GRcade Plays? We could do it so that people could play any game in the Papes series... perhaps it could be an autumn project?

I'd be really up for this - I have a copy of TTYD that I never finished that belongs to Banjo and would be up for playing through it with my fellow GR folks.

It could work out well, Cora... but I'm a little unsure about kicking it off just yet. Devlin's excellent Mario Maker contest takes up quite a bit of time at the moment (playing other folks' levels as well as making your own!). I do love the idea of a Papes playthrough, though. Maybe we could see how many folk would be interested and then look to run it later in the year?

Well, this is how things are going:

Bought

> Destiny: Rise of Iron (PS4) - I got it... and still not played it; I haven't played Destiny since the launch month :fp: .

Definitely
-

Probably
> Watch Dogs 2 (PS4) - Seeing actual gameplay has moved this up from a Maybe.
> Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (PS4) - I pre-ordered it even though I'm absolutely terrible at these games. The atmosphere around launch always gets me hyped up :fp: .

Maybe
> Skyrim Special Edition (PS4) - I never played the original but I don't want to pay full price for this port.
> The Last Guardian (PS4) - After seeing some gameplay, the hype has re-awoken.
> Paper Mario: Colour Splash (Wii U) - I want to play it... but not more than the games above.

Resisted
> Bioshock Collection (PS4) - For me, the ports just didn't look that much better than the originals.
> Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - I've still not played the last one, so it'd be crazy to splash out on this.

Other than my CoD preorder, Gears of War 4 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided will be my last gaming purchases for 2016.

Next year will begin with Horizon Zero Dawn.

Definitely
Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS): Bought and unplayed
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (3DS): Bought and unplayed
Paper Mario: Color Splash (Wii U): Pre-ordered and currently playing :shifty:
Civilization VI (PC): Pre-ordered (special edition)
Dishonored 2 (PC): Pre-ordered
Pokémon Sun (3DS): Pre-ordered

Probably
GTX 1070: I've settled on a 1060 for my second PC. I'll upgrade the 970 in my main PC when I get a new monitor or two.

Maybe
The Turing Test (PC): It's on my wishlist
Dead Rising (PC): It's on my wishlist
South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PC): It's on my wishlist but I'll get it on day one if I finish the Stick of Truth before it launches next year

Picross 3D Round 2 didn't have a release date when I first posted but that is a definite buy for me. I don't think that there's anything else that I'll add to this list.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy
    Dishonored 2
    Dead Rising 4
    Destiny: Rise of Iron
    Tumble VR
    Batman: Arkham VR
    Titanfall 2
    Star Trek: Bridge Crew
    Gravity Rush 2

I've also bought or preordered the following since the original list...

    Project Highrise
    Xbox One S
    PS4 Pro

Also tempted by the following as well now...

    Planet Coaster
    Headmaster
    EVE Valkyrie
Pretty much any PSVR game that gets good reviews

Just realised, barring the Xbox Winter sale, I've bought all the games I want this year already. Just paid for Skyrim to pre-download on X1 and that's that. Kinda refreshing in a way, I can play all the games I haven't put enough time into.
