Although interestingly I did have an Evangelion 2.0 limited print tee for years I picked up in Kyoto - before I'd ever actually watched it (in about 2010)
Now it's lost its shape.Every time I watch it it's like it's still fresh though, and there are so many layers. I still need to watch the last few episodes and the films a couple of times to get the bonkers scale of it.
Can't deny how fetishistic parts of it are though
