Exit the vault... behold the wasteland. Still a brilliant feeling!

So what game is next jawa, now you're done with Fallout 3?

This journey is going to a pretty extensive trek, Orange... I don’t anticipate storming through it :) . Even so, I am thinking about the Mass Effect trilogy and New Vegas for future journeys...

I like game guides, especially the Fallout ones! I love reading about the characters and kit. When playing I don’t follow the guide line-by-line... I do my own thing and then refer back to it to see if I’ve missed stuff.

I say we ban him until we get video evidence in the form of a vlog of his completion of OOT.

Okay, I've reached Megaton and met all of the residents. I was pleased at how cool the setup still feels; the dwelling is ramshackle and worn whilst the people have genuine character. I helped Walter to fix the pipes and, after speaking with Moriarty, my next step is to get on the trail of a radio station. I need to venture back out into the Wasteland!

Haven't you played this before? Surely you know what the station is?

I do... but I didn’t want to spoil things for anyone who is yet to play it :) .

Moira’s quest - Wasteland Survival Guide - is a brilliant way to explore new locations and level up, as well as finding new quests in the process. It’s really worth doing it to completion.

Oh, definitely, man - I plan to start investigating these tasks tomorrow night.

Yup. That was one of the first missions I did to completion and really helped sell the world.

Ventured back out into the wasteland. Went underground into the metro. Defeated first mutant (critical head shot 8-) ). Reached radio station in city. Helped defeat the mutants... but got extinguished by the super mutant. And then realised I hadn’t saved game for about forty minutes :fp: .

So, tonight I’ll be re-doing that lot.

Right, I've re-done that section and Galaxy News Radio is a safe zone. Met Three Dog and he's sent me out on some dang mission... gotta get the station broadcasting to a wider area.
