To do that properly would require a Breville sandwich maker, a staple of every home. Or at least it should be.

You can make a very serviceable toastie using a griddle pan.

You can do toasties without a breville, I do then in a non stick frying pan and they come out awesome.

Indeed, any sandwich toaster will suffice.

I didn't actually get to have any pizza the other night. :dread: Despite talking about it for weeks before and planning it well in advance, all my mates bar one had already eaten before they came over so we didn't end up ordering anything.

I bought some new bits to try earlier when I was shopping though.

That rice that Skippy recommended, an orange and some sauce have with pasta rather than the normal dollop of ketchup i've been having for the last x amount of years.

Stupid question, but this is quite literally the first orange I can ever remember eating (unlike things like pizza/broccoli I know i've definitely had them at some point and just didn't really like them because of my mindset, with an orange i've got genuinely no idea if i've ever had one), other than the skin and that tasty looking sticker, is there any part of it i'm not supposed to eat?

Don't eat the pips if it has any , just cut into quarters and eat it that way.

If you eat the pips an orange tree will grow inside you.

Oh God, Dolmio.

Or as the Mars executives probably like to call it 'chopped tomatoes but with the Muppets on the label'

I can't begin to imagine why you would go for ketchup with pasta when there is an entire aisle of every single supermarket offering easy stuff to stir in pasta? Also, Dolmio :dread: (there didn't seem to be a vomit smilie), I haven't had it in an age but it used to taste really processed. I'd suggest next time getting some Lloyd Grossman tomato and basil or take a punt on some Sacla sun dried tomato pesto. After that, find a recipe you enjoy and make it yourself, pasta sauce is very easy to make and cheap.

Dolmio's alright. I don't understand the hate. Sure it's not Michelin star stuff but for someone taking baby steps into the world of sauce it's perfectly acceptable.
