Turns out the second round finished and i'd only had one go on it  I finished in 294th position 3.8 off the lead :dread: :dread:

Anyway, round 3 now. Currently 132nd with a 1:02.276, the top time being a 1:00.323 so im not that far off for my first try.

With that one attempt I finished in the low 200s for that round. I've got a really bad back at the moment so couldn't be doing with sitting in my chair for another evening and therefore didn't take part in the final round.

Now they want you to buy iracing for the next round :| No thanks, I've got more than enough sims to be playing without dropping another £40 on another. If they do another with a game I already own like project cars then I'll do it.

Iracing is a monthly sub game too, so that makes it even worse.

:dread:

I get why they're doing it, it's advertising by stealth at the end of the day but I wish they'd do it by way of a free 'demo of sorts for the competition. Single car and track for the round, then an option to purchase the full game at the end of the round for a nice discount.

Please don't make me have to get GT sport for this :fp:

AND you have to buy new cars/tracks. It makes other games look generous.

I Just not buying yet another sim I'll not play after. If they do another round with something I already have like project cars I'll be all over it.

Especially iRacing, which despite all the simracing dads jerking off over how serious and accurate it is, is still plagued by handling issues from its history as a heavily modified nascar game from the early 2000s which haven't been addressed for almost a decade.
