100% agree. I was so taken by it I downloaded the demo from Steam. It ran like crap on my Deck, but the game showed promise.

It reminds me most of RiME or The Last Guardian. (edit - so yes Ico vibes!)

My favourite Don't Nod game is Remember Me and that was part Uncharted-style clambering, so maybe it makes sense as an evolution of that. The traversal in TOTK and Death Stranding is different, but I can see why you'd think of them (any pulled back side on shot of someone climbing a cliff face is going to make me think of Zelda now tbh, and anything that is all about traversal seems fair game for a Death Stranding comparison at least!)

Yeah totally. In terms of gameplay it looks more like SOTC, and the climbing bits of that were the best bit by a long shot.

I actually think this might make me a bit motion sick to be honest!

RiME is the one it reminds me of. I really liked that game.

I've only played Don't Nod's original Life is Strange (and wasn't much of a fan of it) but this looks very like my kind of thing. Tempted to buy it for PS5 even though it's on Gamepass!

(Because I don't have an Xbox and rarely play stuff on my laptop because)

Played 90 mins climbing & swinging about. Nice relaxing game. Up to the start of chapter 3.

Weird that the review embargo is still not up.

I’m going to wait until the achievements are online, just in case they get fouled up. They’re not my reason for playing it, but it would be annoying if they didn’t unlock properly (however unlikely that is).

Reviews are rolling in now and it’s looking very good! I’ll take it for a spin tonight when the trick or treaters have strawberry floated off and the kid’s in his bed.

It's a good review. Looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll run on my Series S without issue.

Gorgeous, climbing is tricky at firstbut im getting the hang of it, echo’s of ICO in parts.
