Trailer gameplay looked amazing, but man those explosions are some 2007 gooseberry fool.

Nah man. There's a believable volume to the cloud, lots of bits flying everywhere with trailing smoke with yet more realistic cloud effects on the trails. Dunno if it's a 2015 explosion ( :lol:

This is more of a sandbox. If you care about the story, you have the wrong idea. However it might be a bit too sandboxy now, we will see.

Destruction is very much for the sake of destruction

Literally no one cares about the story or character motivations

Everything exists to be exploded, finesse be damned

Being able to explode loads of things is pretty much the reason I loved the 2nd game.

As others have said, the game is about destruction and bonkers world traversal.

You are missing out if you haven't yet played JC2, Kinopio.

A solid 40 minutes of gameplay. Looks great.

Not sure if I should buy on PC or rent on PS4. Leaning towards the former, though. I've played loads of JC2 over the years. Probably one of the few games I actually go back to.

This is looking like it'll be tremendous fun! I've not played a Just Cause game before, but the environments, open-world structure and the potential for creating chaos are really drawing me in!

Just Cause was a huge game in terms of the world map.

And it was bloody good fun game to play.

Just Cause 2 is a game that kept me going back back years after I'd initially completed it, because there were still items to collect and it was so much fun doing so. The only annoyance was how easy it was to trigger some kind of response from the military, which then escalated to ridiculous levels.
