Just got capsized during a raft race!

Britain post Brexit appears to be a country where people think they can capsize people with impunity.

A low water mark for society.

Thank you for stating some of the possible facts. I guess I am worrying and upsetting myself more than I should.
I think the team who capsized us eventually went quiet during my rant at them coz they could see how upset I was becoming whilst telling them off.

But I just googled raft race capsized and look and behold! A story about a man being put in Intensive care after his raft capsized coz they crashed into a pillar which caused it to capsize. He got stuck underneath for about 5 minutes and then got put on life support. That gooseberry fool could have happened to us today!!

Right, serious time now. You do that a LOT. You have an overthinking problem. And a Google problem. Think about it, you're not going to see a news report of "guy gets capsized on rafting trip, is otherwise fine", because that's not newsworthy.

The very fact that it was reported on shows that it is very rare, because the rarity is what makes it worth reporting.

This sounds awful. N1FFF, did you know you can write to your MP and they can investigate things like this for you? I bet the organisers would take action if they got a call from an MP.

I was so angry that I went to report them to the judges and then went on the warpath and shouted at them. One of them tried to blame it on my team saying one of my guys had attempted to capsize them which was not the case. Absolutely disgusting trying to accuse us.
One then said its only fun, spirit of a raft race etc! I said throwing water and eggs is one thing by flipping someone's raft is not acceptable and dangerous!
I said I would be speaking to their manager and stormed off.
