They were being absolute dicks and I don't see the problem with getting them banned from this yearly event.

You've spoken to the organisers. If they feel there's any grounds to do anything that's up to them. Not to some petulant child who's ready to throw his toys out the pram and suggest talking to the police about it.

Also I could have drowned. It happened so quickly I can't remember...but my life jacket went up above my shoulders and I just grabbed onto my colleague then some how made it onto the raft again.
If my colleague wasn't so close by what could have happened?
I only spoke to a bunch of people who were working there not exactly the event organiser.

You would have been used in a safety video on what happens if you don't put on your life jacket correctly.

You accept an absolute minute risk of drowning when you play any water sport; but you had a life jacket on and you were surrounded by competent swimmers, including the guys who capsized you, who may well have been dickheads but presumably wouldn't have let you die. Don't be such a big baby.

Some of you guys are being right banana splits in here. How about showing the guy some support. Do what you have to do FFF it was unsporting behaviour so they shouldn't go unpunished for their actions.

He already complained to the organisers. That's as far as it needs to go (And still a slight over-reaction in my book). Any talk of taking it further is just ridiculously stupid and childish.
