When Bob Sweeney is taking a beating while making up names starting with Drew - that's a genuinely funny but also painful-to-watch scene that shows how great Justified can be.

Cliche'ed?

Is that really what you mean, past two episodes were decent enough, enjoyed the one legged guy stuff.

I don't really get the relationship between Raylan and his ex-wife, there doesn't seem to be a reason as to why he's avoiding them.

Bare in mind that I'm basing this off of the first half of Season 1. I'm definitely getting into it more but the actual murder/crime plots that make up the episodes are extremely poor.

I don't think the quality varies much between seasons, they are all great.
Season one does feel a bit different just because there isn't much of an ongoing story, but if you aren't liking the writing or characters then that doesn't really change much.

I can't place what it is about this season but I'm just not connecting with it.

Still don't get the complaint, in S1 isn't one of the plots about a dentist who kills someone and goes to find treasure (or something along those lines)

"Miller, would you call this a herd, a gaggle, or a flock of assholes?"
"I'd call this the United Nations of assholes."

I really wasn't feeling last week's episode but this week was really great again. The scene above where Raylan and his buddy walk in on everybody has got to be one of the best moments of the season. Actually burst out laughing.

Can't believe they're dragging this Ava/heroin gooseberry fool on for this long, though. Just kill her off and be done with it. It's really dragging the show down.

God I care so little about eva's pointless prison adventure, especially when it's obviously just being dragged out till the end of the season for when she gets killed.

Excellent episode this week despite the Ava gooseberry fool.

I expected season 5 to be the best season yet based on critics' reviews but I'm not feeling it, 9 episodes in. It's good but I think It's my least favourite out of 2-5.

I think it's definitely been the weakest season but it's had some amazing single episodes. And just 'cos it's the weakest doesn't mean it's bad or even average by any means, at least in my view.

Absolutely. The weakest season of Breaking Bad is probably S3, but it's still great viewing.

I really wish they would wrap up this Ava story arc now - massive sigh every time she comes on the screen. It's worse than Margaret's Women's Health story arc was in season 3 of Boardwalk, really dragging down the show.

This weeks episode was great though, got a huge laugh at the exploding cigarette packed

That was quite the episode, so much happened.

I can't wait for Daryl Crowe Jnr to get his though.

The cigarette scene!  That was a good episode again apart from Ava's scenes. I just skipped through them this week, did I miss anything important?

You'll want to go back and watch those for sure, there was some tense stuff featuring ice cream
