That scene with him and Raylan was just amazing. Garret Dillahunt is just strawberry floating brilliant, too. Suits this kind of show down to the ground. Infact I don't think I've ever seen him put in a bad performance.

Another good episode this week! I'm beginning to get my hopes up that I'll have forgotten all about season 5 by the time we get to the finale. Hopefully we continue to get plenty of Boyd screen time.

Hot damn, this is shaping up to be one hell of a final season. The dialogue in the 3rd episode was simply superb.

I was already hooked on this season after last week's episode but this one was just as good.
The pacing is perfect, writing as sharp and funny as ever, and the new characters are full of character. Love it!

I got a proper laugh at that part too - didn't see it coming at all! We're definitely back on track with season 6 now, think it's going to get the end of show finale it deserves. They've stopped trying to shoehorn in characters that don't work and just focusing on Harlan specific stuff.

Really hope Ava cops it before she ruins Boyd.

I was going to mention that too, it's about time! I remember reading a few years back that his character was going to have a bigger part in the upcoming season (probably S3 or S4 at the time) but it never seemed to happen, and I've been waiting for it ever since.

Another fantastic episode, really think we could be on track for the best season yet. Although saying that perhaps my expectations were just rock bottom after last season.

Boyd went extra hill billy this week didn't he - I was absolutely loving his excitement over the breakfast, top lad hollering away. Anyone got predictions for how they think things are going to pan out?

Things are happening/being revealed far earlier than I expected them to be. Reminds me of the final season of The Shield where everything changed halfway through the season.

It's awful lonely in here as of late.

This week's episode was absolutely brilliant in every possible way. The dialogue in this show, goddamn, it's just sublime. I'm gonna miss it so much. The back and forth banter between Raylan and Boyd in that scene had me grinning from ear to ear. The whole episode was full of wonderful momemts but the second to last scene in that shack was a lovely way to end it.

Safe to say I was blown away by this episode.

Loved the Deadwood reference too!
