It's all to do with the licence and the people that want to know about it. I will hazard a guess that the drugs were taken/ sold off by the guy who found the parachutist.

Is this the type of show where I could just watch this new episode having never seen it before, or does it require an understanding of everything up to that point?

I thought it was slightly disappointing this week. Very slow episode with not much happening. Seemed to just set up next week.

This weeks was pretty good, Raylan doesn't seem to be having much luck with the ladies, but at least she stopped Raylan getting his ass kicked.

Really loved the latest episode after not being so hot on the previous one. Felt like a classic standalone ep that the show does so well.
I agree about the lack of a threat this year, though. The show is kinda coasting.
I can see Boyd being the big bad again, maybe.
