KERR9000's 2023 Special to be released on New Years eve, work in progress....

OK so you know those sort of Year in Review shows, well I have always always wanted to do my own sort of low rent home made one, its a sort of life's ambition.... so why am I talking about it, well I have actually made a decent amount of progress on it for once....

I have recorded my footage for January , February and May and an Introduction
I also have a script for March finished

So what am I looking for well for a start just to let everyone know about it, its probably going to end up around 45 minutes long at a guess (did a little maths based off what I have done so far) It will mention UK News events that have happened each month, sometimes a bit about a song, or game or film, a lot of comedy

So what do I want from you guys... Well I have mentioned this place and another forum at the start and named some users for being awesome....not enough but didn't want 10 minutes of reading names, but I want to know about topics from various months you would be interested in hearing about, and if anyone is interested in contributing something be it a starting theme jingle or some art they want shown or critized or such on screen im open to it I want to get people involved and I want people to know this is a love letter to everyone I adore here and on twitter and everywhere my online life tales place....

Even if the work gets on top of me this will come out in some state at the very least so people can say how banana splitting Gooseberry Fool it all is...

This sounds like a cool idea Kerr. I don't know what contribution I could really make, maybe some graphics or something if you need them.

Anything would be great... I can half arse just about anything if needed but it would be cool to include other peoples stuff and name check them for it just as id like that.

The other thing I would appreciate is if anyone has a subject for any month they'd like me to talk about, as I have a few months done now like January Feb, March and may .....but if anyone said oh you know April A B and C happened or this video game released or this song was number 1 and id think it would be cool to hear you talk about it... as its hard to look at a whole month and decided 2 or 3 things worth mentioning myself....

In 4 months and an intro I have 18 minutes worth of video so far...

Also getting Dwayne Racoon ready for his part.

Be good to see this come out and listen to what topics you're talking about. If you want something for April, Star Wars Celebration was in London again for the first time since 2016. Might be worth a mention.

Thanks chap, I will keep that in mind.

I have about half of it finished now, which means I better get a crack on and get more done... I at least did the sensible thing of backing up to online storage as id scream if I lost it.

Ah, lovely. And yeah, backups - especially in the cloud - are a Godsend if ever anything gets deleted from local storage.

I have done a lot more work on it now, I can say it is certainly going up on New Years Eve

So for a progress report

Done January, February , March, April, May, June (including an Appearance From Dwayne Raccoon), September, (an extended opening to October) October and November... Just July, August, December and a closing Monolog to do .... its 40 Minutes long so far.

So I have finished my NEW YEARS EVE 2023 Year in Review Video.... It has taken a whole bunch of time and effort and there are a few of you who I have put in the Credits at the end thanking you... as well as a general thanks to the Forum

There is a page up now for the upcoming premier of it... the video will go Live on the 31st of December at 23:00 Finishing at about a minute after Midnight.... I am going to try my best to be on there to greet anyone who comes to see it/talk there..

I won't make it live, but looking forward to making the time to sit down and watch it properly.

Just had something happen that's made me really Happy Larry Bundy JR has just subscribed to my YouTube and has said he is going to check my special out

Like Ad, i won't be on that late to see it premiere, but I will catch up and see it as and when i can.

I just want to say a Big thank you to well everyone ... everyone who offered me any words of support, any one who watched it... I was pretty surprised that 6 people watched it live and its had 17 views total so far which I am pleasently suprised about given its a lengthy video.

I did enjoy making it even if it was a lot of time and effort it was a lot of fun as well.... I went about it a bit wrong though started it in like may or something then left it for ages then did the majority of the work in the last 3 months of the year...I really should have filmed it over a longer time to make the work load smaller..... I will probably do it again but with some tweaking, filming as I go and posting it earlier on new years eve as I think most people are more likly to want to either go to bed now days or be sat with family when the new year rings in proper.

Yeah, I think making a recording of what happened in a month after that month is done makes more sense, even if you then have to cut some parts from that month if more interesting things come up in later months.
